Hi! My name is Brenda Valle-Alfaro. I am a graphic designer from Ypsilanti Michigan. Growing up I have always had an eye for design. I was judging color palettes before I even knew how to read. Naturally, once I became old enough, I could express my interest in design by embroidering flowers or animals. By the time I was in elementary school, I was designing blankets, pillows, and shirts. As I became older, I started making realistic illustrations with charcoal. Eventually, in high school, I took my first design class and instantly knew I wanted to pursue graphic design as a career.
I earned my Certificate and Associate Degree in Graphic Design from Washtenaw Community College. I took classes such as Typography, Publication Design, Imaging and Illustration, Photoshop Graphics, Intermediate Interface Design, Advanced Digital Studio, and Professional Practices.
My specialties: Surface Design, Web Design, Logos, and Illustration.
